The Train-the-Trainer EPIQ workshop is intended for those who wish to become EPIQ facilitators and designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively teach the EPIQ workshop contents. In addition to the core material, the program includes valuable insights on co-facilitation and preceptorship. Participants will gain practical strategies for addressing common challenges faced during the workshop, as well as facilitation techniques to guide teams successfully and improve the learning experience. Participants will also learn how to support participants in utilizing each Quality Improvement (QI) tool effectively, and receive expert tips for co-facilitating QI workshops with confidence.
The EPIQ "Train-the-Trainer" workshop is available both in-person or virtual and is provided by experienced facilitators. Targeted participants need no previous QI experience, but are motivated to disseminate EPIQ as educators “Facilitators”. EPIQ Facilitators have the knowledge and confidence to teach EPIQ materials. They are teachers and not QI experts, and are familiar enough with the content to facilitate a group or team in learning the 10 steps of EPIQ workshop.
